You will work with great brands and across all internal business functions to ensure that your product range is correctly placed and its potential communicated to the relevant markets.
- Product positioning, differentiating from the competition
- Communicate value propositions internally and externally
- Develop product vision, strategy and roadmap for each brand in the portfolio
- Mastermind new product launches
- Liaise with key customers and partners
- Manage product training sessions for technical and sales professionals
- Identify potential markets and opportunities
- Analyse markets for size and potential revenue/share
- Continually review brand and product performance, take action where required
- Manage and negotiate with vendors
- Actively manage whole product lifecycles
- Maintain pricing across all AV and Broadcast products
- Identify new brand and product opportunities
- Work with marketing to develop relevant materials
- Support with planning and operation of trade shows and events
- Work with marketing on social media and website activity
Your Skills, Qualities & Experience
Must have strong analytical and commercial acumen coupled with a track record of success in product management with audio visual or broadcast technologies. Proven ability to deliver innovative ideas to make your products stand out in a competitive market place. Experience of marketing technology products would be an advantage. Must have a strong understanding of the Australian AV & Broadcast technology market and the current key brands and products available. A high level of attention to detail is essential for success in this role. Working across all areas of the business, the Product Manager must be an excellent team player who can work well with a range of different personalities.
