Audio Visual Distributors is looking for an energetic business development manager to join our team to look after our Queensland, Northern Territories and Western Australian regions. With an existing client base and great products, the company is well placed to capitalise on the opportunities afforded by the new technologies in our portfolio.
- Proactive sales & account management
- Build and develop client relationships
- Sales forecasting using customer and market intelligence
- Keep up to date with the latest AV technology developments
- Represent the brands to customers across Queensland and Western Australia
- Drive sales growth across the states via client meetings
- Build opportunities & engage directly with the end-user client
- Training of the resellers and end users on products and solutions
- Achieve sales targets and reap the rewards
- Responsible for presenting reports of sales activity & sales figures
Your Skills, Qualities & Experience:
- Must be an accomplished field sales professional with a background in selling technology based products to end-user clients and resellers.
- A strong understanding of the latest Audio Visual technologies, utilised in a commercial setting (business, government, education) is essential to be effective in the role.
- A good understanding of IT Networks would be a major plus.
- You must have a proven track record of hitting sales targets, winning new business and selling in a consultative way.
- The position is based at our Gold Coast office in Coomera, and will require travel to the other regions as the role requires.
- Current open Australian driving license essential.
The position is a permanent one – initially on a 6-month trial contract to determine suitability, with a view to extend this, based on performance. This is a long term permanent relationship requirement and not a short term gap-filling requirement! This role is only open to Australian residents allowed to work legally in Australia, and is required to start ASAP. Freedom to travel around the country from time to time is a necessity.
